Oreo Cookie Dessert

Rich and creamy, chocolaty dessert with gobs of crushed Oreo cookies and cool whip. Your family will be smiling from ear to ear when you bring out this fantabulous dessert.

Ingredients

  • Package of Oreo Cookies, crushed ( two rows of Oreos is what you’ll need)

  • 18 ounce cool whip

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 large package instant chocolate pudding

  • 3 cups cold milk (for the pudding)

  • 1 cup melted butter

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Directions

  • Crush cookies (reserve ½ cup).
  • Place cookie crumbs in a 9×13 inch pan.
  • Melt the butter and drizzle over the crumbs. Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Cream the powdered sugar and cream cheese together
  • Add 2/3 of the cool whip to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  • Spread over the cookie crust and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Prepare pudding according to directions on the package.
  • Spread the prepared pudding on top of the cream cheese mixture. Return to refrigerator and chill for 1 hour.
  • Spread on remaining cool whip and sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. Chill for 1 hour and then it’s ready to serve!
