There’s nothing better than a tender, juicy and flavorful steak. I’ve tried several recipes and finally decided I’ve found the perfect one! The original recipe called for 1/2 teaspoon salt. I omitted the salt as there is plenty in the soy sauce and Worchestershire sauce. Thanks to the Recipe Critic for sharing this recipe.
The World’s Best Steak Marinade

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and submerge steaks in the marinade.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- When ready to cook your steaks, remove from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Just a quick hint…after cooking the steak, place a pat of butter on top for extra yummy goodness!
Notes
- This marinade is enough for approximately 2-3 pounds of steak (example: 4 strip steaks)
