Haluski

Have you ever racked your brain as to what to serve as a side dish other than the usual potatoes or rice? Well, look no further. This dish is quite popular in Poland and once you taste it, you’ll know why. It’s quick and easy to prepare, is economical and is very delicious. It’s one of those dishes that you can alter to suit your families tastes. Sometimes I’ll fry up a few slices of bacon, crumble it and sprinkle on top. You can make this into a meal by adding some kielbasa or other type of sausage. You’ll be amazed at how much flavor comes from just a few simple ingredients.
