Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

One of my families favorite dessert is cheesecake. This creamy cheesecake is loaded with mini chocolate chips and a graham cracker crust. If you’ve never baked a cheesecake before, this is an easy recipe to start with.

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and flour until well blended.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Blend in sour cream and vanilla.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Pour over crust and bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
  • Loosen cake from rim of pan with a knife. Cool before removing rim.

Notes

  • When making cheesecake, I always place an ovenproof dish filled with water on the lowest rack of the oven. The moisture helps prevent the cheesecake from cracking.
