This moist and scrumptious Bundt cake is easy to make and is bursting with chocolate goodness. I frost mine with a chocolate ganache icing. Thanks to my sister Kathy for sharing the recipe!
Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake

1 package yellow cake mix (the plus pudding type)
1 large package instant chocolate pudding
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup warm water
4 eggs
1 small container sour cream
6 ounces chocolate chips
- ***Chocolate Icing
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding, oil and water and mix well.
- Add the eggs and mix until well incorporated.
- Blend in the sour cream
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan and bake 1 hour.
- Cool cake, remove from pan onto a serving plate and then drizzle with chocolate icing.
- Icing
- In a microwaveable bowl, microwave the chocolate chips and cream for 90 seconds.
- Remove from microwave and stir until the chocolate chips are all melted.
- Let the icing cool for 15 minutes, stirring now and then, and then drizzle over the cake.
- Refrigerate cake until the icing has solidified.
