For me, pumpkin bread was one of those “take it or leave it” kind of foods…until I tasted this fantastic recipe. My sister-in-law Nancy shared this recipe years ago and I just love it. It’s moist with the the right blend of spices. Goes great with a cold glass of milk! Yum!

Pudding Whip
I used to make this dessert for my children when they were little. Each time I made it, a different child would pick what flavor he/she wanted. They liked to take turns shaking the instant pudding. It’s a light and fluffy dessert and the kids just love it…and so do I!
Pretzel Turtle Candies
These little bites of yumminess remind me of the turtle candies we enjoyed back when I was a kid. My Aunt Freida would bring us Turtles as she worked at Synder’s Candies in Chicago. We could only have one (probably because there were 10 kids in my family), but it was a special treat. My […]
Pretzel Salad
My bestie Diane, shared this recipe with me. Every year at Christmas when she attends the family get-together, they always request for her to bring this dish and there’s never any leftovers. It’s now one of my family’s favorites as well. The crunchy, buttery crust, creamy center, strawberry jello and whipped topping is like a […]
Pound Cake
This is a pound cake that I just can’t stop eating. Thank goodness it is baked in a double sized loaf pan because if it wasn’t, I’d have to hide it in my closet to keep it all to myself. It’s firm yet moist and oh so buttery. Thanks Pat for the best pound cake […]
Potato Kugali
To me, this potato dish is a cross between a hash brown patty and a potato pancake. It’s plain and simple yet very delicious. We enjoy this dish with pork chops or a cube steak.
Potato Chip Cookies
Delicate, buttery cookie, filled with nuts and potato chips! Talk about yummy! This is another recipe from my “Christmas Cookie Collection”, but they are good any time of the year!
The Perfect Pork Chop
Pork chops were never at the top of my “favorites” list. I imagine that’s because when I was a little girl (many, many years ago), folks cooked the chops so long they resembled hockey pucks, because they were afraid of getting infected with tapeworms. Well, now we have meat thermometers to make sure meat is […]
Pork Carnitas
After spending the day in a slow cooker, this succulent pork will tantalize your taste buds with its spicy blend of flavors. You can serve this on tortillas with your favorite toppings . My favorite way to enjoy this is to spread the meat over tortilla chips, covered with cheese and pop it under the […]
Pizzelles
This thin, crisp, elegant Italian cookie is bursting with the fresh scent of Anise. It’s the perfect after dinner treat after a large meal.
