I was at a gathering where these meatball appetizers were served. Now, I already had a favorite meatball appetizer recipe, but when I tried these, I realized it was also a keeper. So, I asked for the recipe and a few days later, I made a batch of these and a batch of my favorites and brought them to a party for a “taste test”. It was a tie! Both dishes had an equal amount of votes. So, here it is. Enjoy!
Meatball Appetizers

1 can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
1 cup chopped green onions
2 pounds ground pork
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup bread crumbs
1 jar Duck Sauce (Tyling is my favorite)
Directions
- Mix all of the ingredients (except for the Duck sauce) together in a large bowl.
- Roll the mixture into balls the size of a walnut.
- Brown well in 1 Tablespoon hot oil.
- When all of the meatballs have been browned, remove from fry pan and discard fat.
- Add the jar of Duck Sauce to the pan
- Place the meatballs in the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes or until done.
