When I need a drizzle of chocolate frosting on a cake, I often whip up some ganache. But, I don’t always have whipping cream on hand. No problem, as this recipe is just as tasty and uses ingredients that I always have in my cabinet.
Chocolate Glaze Frosting

2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 Tablespoon + 2 teaspoons water
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon corn syrup
1 cup powdered sugar
Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and immediately beat in 1 cup confectioners sugar. Drizzle over cake.

- Combine the cocoa powder, water, oil and corn syrup in a saucepan.
- Stir and cook over low heat until mixture is smooth.
