Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

1 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups chocolate chip
1 cup pecans
Directions
- Prepare the topping by mixing the brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, chocolate chips and pecans in a medium size bowl. Stir well and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Grease a 9×13 inch pan
- In a large bowl, whip the butter and sugar together until well blended.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt, 1/2 cup at a time, beating just until incorporated with each addition
- Add the sour cream and vanilla and mix until blended.
- Put half of the batter into the 9×13 pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle 1/2 of the topping over the batter in the pan.
- 10.Spread the remaining batter evenly over the top.
- 11. Sprinkle the remaining topping over the batter.
- 12. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
- 13. Cool before serving
