Beef Stroganoff

If you’re looking for a quick and easy meal, that’s tasty and filling, look no further. This dish is ready in less than 20 minutes. Add a side of green beans or carrots and you’ve got dinner! A special thanks to my sister in law Nancy for sharing this recipe over 50 years ago. We’ve enjoyed it countless times through the years and still enjoy it today!

Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix

  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 12 ounces sour cream

Directions

  • Cook the egg noodles according to directions on package. While the noodles are cooking, prepare the stroganoff.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef until no longer pink
  • Drain off and discard excess grease.
  • Add the onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce and sour cream to the ground beef
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sour cream starts to turn to a light, golden brown (approximately 8-10 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and serve over egg noodles.
