Over ripe bananas makes this cake melt in your mouth. It’s easy to whip up and your family will be thrilled.
Banana Nut Cake

1 stick butter
1½ cup sugar
3 eggs
3 mashed ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sour cream
½ cup chopped nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar and cream again.
- Add eggs,one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add mashed bananas and mix well.
- Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add the flour mixture alternately with sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the nuts. mixing well.
- Grease and flour a 9×13” pan
- Pour in batter and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost with your favorite icing.
