My friend Linda shared this recipe with me several years ago. It’s an easy to make cheese spread, filled with crumbly bits of bacon. Spread it on crackers or with a tray of carrots and celery sticks.
Bacon Cream Cheese Spread

2-8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 slices bacon, crisply cooked, drained of grease, and crumbled
¼ cup green onions, chopped (stems included)
Directions
- Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise and mix well.
- Add Parmesan cheese, bacon and green onions. Mix well.
- Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator an hour before serving.
