Bacon Cream Cheese Spread

My friend Linda shared this recipe with me several years ago. It’s an easy to make cheese spread, filled with crumbly bits of bacon. Spread it on crackers or with a tray of carrots and celery sticks.

Bacon Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 2-8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 10 slices bacon, crisply cooked, drained of grease, and crumbled

  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped (stems included)

Directions

  • Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise and mix well.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, bacon and green onions. Mix well.
  • Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  • Remove from refrigerator an hour before serving.
