Taffy apple salad is packed with flavor, has just the right amount of crunch and is super delicious. You’ll be tempted to eat the whole bowl! Thanks to my sister Kathy for sharing this recipe with me!
Taffy Apple Salad

20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 egg
1 Tablespoon flour
12 ounces cool whip
12 ounce can planter’s cocktail peanuts
½ cup sugar
1½ teaspoons vinegar
5 large Granny Smith apples
Directions
- Combine pineapple with marshmallows and refrigerate overnight.
- In a saucepan, add pineapple juice, egg, flour, vinegar and sugar. Heat until thickened. Refrigerate overnight.
- Next day, cut unpeeled apples into small chunks. Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for a few hours.
