Here’s another cookie from my “Christmas Cookie Collection”. It’s a tasty peanut butter cookie, rolled in sugar and topped with a big old Hershey’s Kiss. Which reminds me, one bag of kisses is plenty for this recipe as it yields approximately 50 cookies.
Peanut Butter & Kisses Cookies

Ingredients
1¾ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter (1 stick)
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Cream together the butter, peanut butter, and the sugars until light and fluffy
- Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Shape dough into ¾ inch balls and roll in sugar.
- Place on ungreased (or parchment paper lined) cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and quickly, put a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie, pressing firmly, causing cookie to crack around edges.
- Return to oven and bake for 2 minutes longer.
- Remove from oven and transfer to wire rack to cool.
