1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 pound lean ground pork
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 Tablespoon finely minced garlic
1 -16 ounce can fire roasted tomatoes
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Directions
- Heat oil in skillet.
- Saute the onion in the oil until soft.
- Add the garlic and saute for another minute.
- Add the pork and cook until meat is no longer pink.
- Add the tomatoes, salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano and cayenne pepper.
- Simmer for ten minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Add the cilantro, stir until combined and serve in taco shells with your favorite toppings.
