Shear ambrosia is how I would describe this cookie. Dark, rich chocolate cookies with walnuts nestled inside. Make a double batch because they are “THAT GOOD”!
Brownie Cookies

6 squares (1 ounce each) semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate
4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 Tablespoons butter
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 ¼ cups sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Melt the chocolate squares and the butter in a saucepan ,being careful not to burn.
- Stir in sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until blended.
- Add the flour, baking powder and salt, mixing well.
- Add the walnuts, stirring until combined.
- Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet ( I line my cookie sheet with parchment paper)
- Bake for 12 minutes at 325 degrees.
- Remove from oven, and leave on cookie sheet for 5 more minutes.
- Remove from cookie sheet onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.
- Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
