Creamy, cheesy and downright tasty is how I describe this dish. It’s one of those dishes that “hits the spot” on a cold winter’s night. Don’t get me wrong…its yummy any time of the year, but I personally favor casseroles in fall and winter.

Ham and Potato Soup
We had lots of ham left over from a holiday meal and after searching for recipes, I came across this soup recipe. Well, it was really good and I couldn’t stop at just one bowl. The nicest part about this is you don’t need to use a ham bone. So now when we have ham, […]
Ham & Cheese Pinwheels
Just before graduation, one of my “study buddies” hosted a luncheon and this is one of the appetizers she served. Ham is not one of my favorite things, but I noticed the ladies were hovering over this dish, so I decided to try one, and then another, and another. They were spectacular. Thanks Rosemarie for […]
Golumpki
Thanks to my sister Joan for sharing this yummy-licious stuffed cabbage roll recipe with me. Talk about a “comfort food”, this one is it. I like to serve it with boiled potatoes and green beans.
Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Talk about delicious. This pork is marinaded in beer, honey, and other goodies, leaving you with the juiciest, tastiest, most tender hunk of meat ever! Don’t worry about what to do with the left overs because there won’t be any…it’s that good!
Goodwich Sandwich
Sometimes I like to have a “meatless meal”, and this sandwich has always been a favorite of mine. Back in the 80’s, this very tasty vegetarian “hand held meal” became popular. It’s chock full of tasty vegetables and grilled onions, served in a pita pocket. You can add or omit some of the items to […]
Gluten Free Wild Blueberry Muffins
I was searching for a recipe for a treat to serve a gluten free friend of mine. I tried several recipes and was getting discouraged because everything I tried came out dry of extremely crumbly. Then I found this recipe. The muffins turned out tender and delicious. and my entire family loved them.
Glogg
This adult beverage, which is a Swedish drink, mostly enjoyed at Christmastime, is served hot. It’s got fruits and nuts, spices, sugar and a boatload of booze. I remember my brother Rich scorching off his eyebrows when he lit a pot of this and my stepmother got very tipsy just from snacking on the raisins […]
Glazed Baked Chicken
It’s a boring title, but a fantastic dish. The glaze has a little bit of an Asian flare and the chicken comes out so juicy you’ll want to lick your fingers.
Gingerbread Cookies
My search is over!!! After trying many different gingerbread recipes, a friend came to the rescue with this gem. She found it online a few years ago, printed it out and never got around to baking them. So, I made them and they are the best. Tender, not too spicy and easy to roll out. […]
