Sauerkraut Pierogi Filling
This is my favorite filling for pierogi. Nice and tart with bits of bacon. If you prefer a less tart filling, rinse the sauerkraut before mixing with the other ingredients and drain it well.
Pierogi Cheese Filling
This recipe is for a traditional cheese filling. There are many variations of cheese filling for pierogi. Some folks add some cheddar for color or some herbs such as parsley or an onion.
